Regional Streetgames

Come along an enjoy some sporting challenges with an American feel such as American Football, 6-a-side Football,Basketball 3v3, BMX/Skateboarding,Tug of War Cheerleading, Dodgeball, Dry Rowing Challenge with Hastings Rowing Club. Robert Tressell Festival 2009
Location: Hastings

Exhibition - Joseph Beuys
Location: Bexhill-on-Sea

The exhibition will explore Beuys’s ideas on economics, politics, activism, anti-establishment, teaching, learning and philosophy and raise questions as to how these ideas have extended beyond Beuys’s own lifetime and how they can continue to inform new thinking today. Bexhill Rowing Regatta

Clubs from Kent and Sussex compete in a variety of disciplines on the sea over a 2000m course from the De La Warr Pavilion to the South Cliff (west of the pavilion) and back again. Hastings Old Town Carnival Week
Location: Hastings

The week's events include a welly boot race, belly dancing, a pram race and numerous craft, social and historical events. The week culminates in a wonderful carnival parade with amazing costumes and decorated vehicles along with music and dance. Bexhill Triathlon

The first year will be a Sprint distance Race. The race distances will be a 500m sea swim, 25km Bike and 5km run. King Harold lost the Battle of Hastings on October 14th 1066 and in 1966 the 900th anniversary was celebrated and it was such a success that Hastings Borough Council decided to celebrate the 14th October each year as Hastings Day and it is now part of Hastings Week.
