Paul Garner-Richards 2 Aug 2009		Blake and Sommerville Families My great grandfather Charles William Blake (laundry owner) married Ellen Sommerville (nurse) at St. Stephen's Church, Bexhill-on-Sea on 4 April 1932. Ellen's father is given as William Sommerville, a Land Steward. The marriage was witnessed by Richard Sommerville and I think the second name is Yvonne Sommerville Macey. Melvyn Deeprose 30 May 2009		Deeprose Family Trying to find information about my grandfather.His name was Frank Deeprose and he lived in Cooden nr Bexhill.He was I believe a member of the Bexhill brass band.He died in 1965.Can anyone help with any information?

Caroline Lancaster 27 May 2009		Gander Family at Bexhill I am interested in the Gander family at Bexhill, particularly descendants of Walter Gander (1823-1865) and his wife Emma Smith. Their surviving children were Anna Maria (b 1845), George Thomas (b 1847), Louis Henry (b 1849), Peter Newman (b 1851),and Walter (b 1860). Peter Gander had a carriers business in Bexhill (at Belle Hill and later at Station Road) until early 1900. Anna Maria and Louis Henry emigrated to USA.
